Psychological Intervention
Your initial session comprises an assessment that allows us to determine your goals for therapy and a treatment plan, which outlines therapy modalities that suitable for you on an individual basis.
Subsequent sessions will involve the learning of empirically-validated skills with in therapy modalities to assist you in reaching your goals. It is important to note that your appointments are confidential should not risk of harm to yourself or others be raised.
Session Fees
Our standard fee is $255 per session for all Registered Psychologists. If you have a GP Referral/Mental Health Care Plan or Private Health Insurance with Psychology coverage, you are able to obtain rebates.
Our fee to see a Provisional Psychologist is $180 with Mental Health Care Plan. If you do not have a Mental Health Care Plan, sessions will be $255. Please note that you are unable to access Medicare or Private Health Insurance rebates if you see a Provisional Psychologist.
As per our policy, payment for initial sessions is required in advance to confirm your booking. Payments for all subsequent appointments are due at the time of the appointment.
Your payment can be made by debit card, credit card or electronic funds transfer (with approval of Principal Psychologist).
We are able to see Self-Managed and Plan-Managed NDIS Participants.
Fees are subject to change. Please contact reception for fee information on an assessment.
Session Duration
The duration of your session is approximately 45-50 minutes.
Assessment sessions may continue for longer. This will be discussed with you upon booking.
Cancellation Fees
Serenity Psychology South Perth’s Cancellation Policy requires that clients provide notice prior to appointment changes or cancellations.
A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for appointments before 3pm if cancelled two business days’ notice or less.
A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for appointments before 3pm if cancelled one business day notice or less.
A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for appointments after 4pm if cancelled three business days’ notice or less.
Cancellation fees are not claimable by Medicare, Private Health Insurance or NDIS.
